Graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1979. After a year of volunteer dental care Dr. Chase has practiced in Santa Rosa, CA for 34 years. Dr. Chase currently has a practice limited to obstructive sleep apnea, cranialmanbiular cervical disorders and oral/systemic linkages. Dr. Chase is adjunct staff at the Pacific Center for Orofacial Disorders of the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, is a research editor for MedEdPortal, written and contributed to articles and books on these topics and lectures both nationally and internationally. Gregory Ackroyd, MD


Graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in 2000. He pursued neurology training followed by sleep medicine fellowship training. Dr. Ackroyd is board certified in neurology and sleep medicine, and his practice has been limited to sleep disorders since 2006. Dr. Ackroyd is medical director for North Bay Sleep Medicine Institute, and treats patients with a wide array of sleep disorders. He has practice locations with sleep centers in Santa Rosa and Petaluma. Dr. Ackroyd is a member of numerous community and professional groups such as the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Peter Marincovich, PhD, CCC-A


Dr. Peter Marincovich earned his graduate degree in communicative disorders from Louisiana State University, and his Ph.D., in Audiology from the University of Memphis. A Santa Rosa native, Dr. Marincovich has practiced in his hometown since 1984. Dr. Marincovich works with patients of all ages and levels of hearing loss. He is also a frequent presenter at seminars and academic conferences. Luke McCully


Dr. Luke McCully is a certified NUCCA (National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association) practitioner focusing on the correction of craniocervical misalignments. He attended Life Chiropractic College West, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2008. He discovered NUCCA while seeking a solution to his own health problems. Motivated to share his powerful healing experience with his patients, he decided to pursue NUCCA certification and trained under the president of NUCCA. Todd Soares PT, OCS, cert. MDT, CCTT


Graduated from the physical therapy program at Cal State University Fresno in 1979 and has resided in Santa Rosa since 1981. He has been interested in the workings of the nervous system and pain management since early in his career. Todd founded North Santa Rosa Physical Therapy in 1987 with the goal of providing a methodical and one-on-one approach to orthopedic and neurologic problems. Toward this end Todd has earned certification as an orthopedic specialist from the physical therapy board, and certification as a cervical and temporomandibular specialist from the Physical Therapy Board of Craniofacial and Cervical Therapeutics. Todd enjoys running, backpacking, and cycling as a sport and as a method of commuting year-round.



Gregg S. Sorensen, MD, MPH, FACOEM


Attended the University of Colorado, graduating Cum Laude in 1977 with a BA in Psychology. Dr. Sorensen earned his MD degree at the University of California, Davis in 1982 and completed his MPH degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1993. Dr. Sorensen became Board-Certified in Preventive and Occupational Medicine in 1994. Dr. Sorensen was elected as a Fellow of ACOEM, the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, in 1996.

Dr. Sorensen owned and operated a Family and Occupational Medicine practice in Pittsburgh, CA from 1987 to 2013. Dr. Sorensen has served as a Medical Director and Consultant Physician to numerous large and small companies in Contra Costa county. Dr. Sorensen currently is working to bring together the various healthcare fields with education and communication with oral systemic connections.


Shiroko Sokitch, MD, DABMA


Graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1984 and the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Seattle, WA in 1990. She did two years of a general surgery residency at Swedish Hospital in Seattle before deciding that the surgeon's way of life was not for her. While attending acupuncture school and starting her alternative medical career, she practiced as an emergency medical physician for ten years. Since 1993, Dr. Shiroko has owned and operated Heart to Heart to Heart Medical Center, a complementary medical center in Santa Rosa, CA. Dr. Shiroko lecturers and authored articles, columns, and TV shows on various health related topics.
